Hi all,
I was surprised this morning when I opened the drapes and found barf (Dari for snow) all over. Tonight it continues to barf but it is very wet and heavy. Not so good on flat roofs made of mud. It covers up the ugly browns and stacks of debris and clears the air, but turns the roads into slippery mudways. Nevertheless is a delightful change.

To pronounce this word, give the 'ar' a healthy roll of the tongue.....more exotic that way! Less barfy too.
